Rocky Malloy

Founder & CEO

As an ordained minister of the Gospel, Rocky leads a ministry currently serving 5.3 million people in 23 countries. He has been passionate about sharing Jesus his entire adult life. His missionary career began in 1989 when he arrived on the Mosquito Coast of Honduras during the Sandinista Civil war. That is where he met his wife and ministry partner, Joske, a Dutch nurse serving in the conflict.

Since 1999, Rocky has lead Mission Generation in providing accredited Bible-based Social Emotional Learning (sometimes better understood as life-skills or Character Development) programs for Pre-K through12th grade, taught during regular school hours. An international chaplain program followed which has experienced parabolic growth. Previous to launching the school programs, Rocky started Iglesia Rio de Vida (River of Life Church) and an Oral Roberts University-affiliated Bible school. Several thousand churches have been planted worldwide, primarily in Islamic nations.

Visionary Leader, Author, Speaker, Educator, and Activist for children’s rights.

After 28 years of living in various Latin American countries, in 2018 Rocky and family moved to Houston, Texas. The vision was to bring their international successes to U.S. public schools. The vision is simple: to give school aged children the tools they need to make quality life decisions based on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Rocky’s early career as a U.S. Merchant Marine officer exposed him to the horrific poverty and cultural despair that only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ can solve. His zeal to preach the Gospel combined with his high tolerance for risk and adventure resulted in him receiving a life sentence in a Mexican federal prison. Arrest, sentencing, incarceration and exoneration took place in a miraculous 72 hours. His desire to share his good-gone-bad story is captured in the documentary, Pirate School.

Rocky and Joske were married in Groningen, Holland in 1990 and have five beautiful children, all serving the Lord.
